About ACFEF Scholarships
Culinary Arts Scholarships in the USA | Exemplary students who are currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution with a major in either culinary or pastry arts, or who are ACFEF-registered apprentices, are eligible for scholarships.
With the help of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation is happy to provide a select number of scholarships to students each year.
The organization offers the following three types of scholarships:
- Apprenticeship program – up to $1,500
- Certificate programs – up to $1,500
- Postsecondary degree programs – up to $2,500

Eligible Candidate: Exemplary students who are currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution with a major in either culinary or pastry arts, or who are ACFEF-registered apprentices, are eligible for scholarships.
Number of Awards: N/A.
Awarded Every Year: Yes, Two Times Annually.
Awarded Amount: Benefits up to $2500.
Academic Credential: Post Secondary College.
Majors: Culinary / Pastry Arts.

ACFEF Scholarships Eligibility:
- Candidates must be permanent Citizens of America.
- Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above and be model students.
- Candidates must have a culinary, pastry, or food service-related major and be enrolled at the university right now.
Application Criteria to Apply for the Scholarship:
- The scholarship selection committee will assess applications using a point system.
- Academic GPA, participation in culinary competitions, culinary volunteer work, and ACF activity are all ways to acquire points.
- Any scholarship award or denial will be communicated to students through email 30 business days after the application deadline.
- If further scholarships are required in subsequent years, applicants are urged to reapply.
- If a candidate doesn’t make the required academic progress or provides false information, ACF maintains the right to cancel any scholarship at any time.
