About ANNA Career Mobility Scholarships

Career Transition Annual scholarships will be given to qualified ANNA members who wish to pursue either a BSN or an advanced nursing degree.

Every year, ANNA (American Nephrology Nurses Association) awards scholarships to its members as financial aid for their pursuit of higher education. At the National Symposium, these scholarship winners are awarded. The American Nephrology Nurses Association enhances the lives of its members via science, networking, advocacy, and education. Ever since its founding as a nonprofit association in 1969, ANNA has provided support to members who work in all areas of nephrology nursing. Over 8,000 registered nurses and other healthcare professionals from all specialties are members of ANNA. Members are employed by businesses, governmental and regulatory organizations, hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapies, transplantation, industry, and conservative management.

The ANNA is dedicated to developing each member and the nephrology nursing specialty. By offering the best educational products, programs, and services, we can meet these objectives. Our members are leaders who support patients, support one another and work with lawmakers to encourage excellence.

ANNA Career Mobility Scholarships Eligibility –

As of the deadline for awards or scholarship applications, the applicant must be a current full member of ANNA who has been a member for at least the previous two years.
Intentionally engaged in providing nephrology nursing-related medical care.
Affirmed or enrolled in a nursing program leading to a bachelor’s or higher degree.
In addition to the requirements specified, each sponsor may make extra demands of candidates. Every year, the call for applications is announced in the ANNA Update and on the ANNA website. Any extra requirements are provided there.
Candidates for NNCC Career Mobility Scholarships must be certified at the moment by the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC).

Application Requirements to Apply for the Scholarship –

Full Documentation that the eligibility requirements are met.
If the applicant is currently enrolled, a certified transcript of their academic records; otherwise, an official letter of acceptance from the academic institution for a course of part-time or full-time study is to start no later than three months after receiving the award.
Using the link supplied by ANNA on the ANNA website, submit three letters of recommendation. Each letter writer needs to register and finish the online referral form.
An essay by the applicant outlining their educational and career objectives in 250 words or fewer that addresses the following topics: Anticipated time frame for degree completion; utilizing this reward to pay for the anticipated costs; The effect of degree completion on the applicant’s nephrology nursing practice.
