Students who have demonstrated academic success as evidenced by a minimum 3.0 GPA and have finished at least one semester of coursework at an authorized law school are eligible for the scholarship. The applicant must belong to an ethnic or racial minority or be someone who has shown a clear dedication to diversity problems throughout their academic career.

About Diversity Law Scholarships
For the Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Law School Diversity Scholarship in 2022, applications are now being accepted by the Buckfire Law Scholarship Committee.
The scholarship was established in 2013 as a part of the law firm’s commitment to assisting deserving law students in pursuing their academic and career goals.
The student must be a part of an ethnic, racial, or other minority or show a commitment to issues of diversity in their community in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
One student will receive a $2,000 prize from our scholarship selection committee.

Eligibility for Diversity Law Scholarships
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- The recipient is a citizen of the United States who is enrolled in an American law school and has served as a delegate.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and having finished at least one semester of courses at a law school that is accredited are indicators of academic achievement.
- The recipient is somebody who belongs to a racial or ethnic minority or anybody else who has shown a clear dedication to diversity concerns across their academic career.
Diversity Law Scholarships Application Requirements
Application materials for the Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. 2022 Law School Diversity Scholarship Program must be submitted by October 1, 2022, at the latest.
- A scholarship application has been completed. (Located at the page’s bottom)
- A one-page written essay describing how you used your time to encourage ethnic diversity in your neighborhood, As an alternative, you may describe how you plan to use your legal education to advance racial diversity in the future.
- A verified, legitimate copy of your transcript from law school.
