The scholarship offers up to $5,000 in tuition funding for students enrolled or accepted in a cosmetology program at any accredited institution whose service demonstrates a commitment to justice, equity, and diversity. L’Oreal Professionnel takes pride in demonstrating one of its core values to support diversity and equality within the hairdressing profession.

For people who want to work in the professional beauty sector, this scholarship will be available each year. Each winner is also qualified to participate in a coaching and mentoring program for cosmetology students that will last for one year after graduation as well as during the program’s academic term.

The Sheena Coleman Empowering Diversity Scholarship honors Sheena Coleman, a beloved employee of the L’Oréal Professional Education Team who tragically passed away in 2020. As we dedicate the Empowering Diversity Scholarship in her honor, Sheena’s love and passion for teaching and inspiring others will endure.

Loreal Scholarship, Eligibility:-

Anyone who identifies as a person of color will be eligible for this scholarship.
New or continuing students participating in a cosmetology program leading to licensure at an accredited institution in the United States are eligible for this grant.
Candidates Must Be Citizens of the United States.
By the start date of the program at the recognized school or institution, the applicant must be eighteen years of age or older.
This grant is not available to family members of L’Oreal Professional, Elevate Salon Institute, or the franchisor. Past LP Scholarship winners are not eligible to apply.
The scholarship, which honors diversity, is available to students who identify as people of color and whose contribution indicates a dedication to justice, equity, and diversity. In addition to demonstrating their dedication to these values, applicants will be judged on their academic success, involvement in the community, and financial necessity.

Applications Required to Apply for the Scholarship:-

Complete the online application and upload your progress report or formal admission letter from your school as proof of enrollment in a cosmetology program.
Submit a YouTube video no longer than three minutes that respond to the following three questions.
