About NSCA Foundation Scholarship
The National Strength and Conditioning Association Foundation (NSCAF) was established with the aim of assisting the National Strength and Conditioning Association in fulfilling its goal by sponsoring initiatives that advance the effective use of strength and conditioning. The candidate should carefully examine the list of general and special requirements for each scholarship to ensure they have been met before submitting their application.
If you are not applying for the DEI Student & Professional Development Scholarship, you must be a member of the NSCA at the time of application and award notice.
Scholarships from the NSCA Foundation are given to students in educational institutions to support their academic endeavors. The student must be a prospective student at the institution of higher learning. The NSCA Foundation program’s guidelines state that the Scholarship money must be applied to:
Expenses, books, supplies, and equipment needed for the educational courses, or Tuition and fees to enroll in or attend an educational institution.

Every applicant for a scholarship must be an NSCA member and be working toward a degree or job in the strength and conditioning industry. preferred degree specialties could be:

Application Requirements for the Scholarship-
- Current updated Resume.
- Full-time student (Associates, Undergraduate, Graduate, Masters, or Doctoral degrees)
- A fully finished application.
- At the time of application and the award; the current membership
- 3 recommendations are required, however, they cannot come from members of the scholarship committee or panel, the NSCA staff, NSCA affiliate staff, the NSCA foundation staff, or the NSCA/NSCA Foundation board.
- Transcripts from each institution visited.
- The applicant has not previously received this honor twice.
- The degree that follows is related to strength and conditioning.
- The applicant is not a current officer, director, employee, or family member of the NSCA Foundation Board of Directors, Scholarship Review Committee, NSCA Board of Directors, or NSCA/NSCA Affiliate Employee.
- At the time of application submission and the time of the award, the applicant is a member of the NSCA.
