USA Scholarships | Undergraduate students with dyslexia and/or auditory processing issues who are enrolled in a college or university in the United States or Canada during the current academic year are eligible for the scholarship. Students with dyslexia and/or auditory processing disorder attending a college or university in the US or Canada have been eligible for an undergraduate scholarship from Gemm Learning for eight years running.
To overcome the obstacles presented by dyslexia and/or auditory processing impairment and enroll in college, it takes perseverance and character. This perseverance is rewarded by the Gemm Learning “Dyslexia/APD” scholarship. Since 2013, we have offered a $1,000 scholarship.
Application procedures are easy to follow. Send us your article on the subject of “Living With Dyslexia” or “Living With Auditory Processing Disorder” to share your personal experience. Your essay ought to be instructive and/or motivating, providing us all with a special perspective on what it’s like to deal with a learning disability.

Scholarships for Students with Dyslexia Eligibility:
- All Candidates must be a legal residency in America / Canada.
- All Students, who are undergraduates & Suffering from dyslexia or auditory processing disorder.
- All Students who are attending the current academic year at a college or university in the United States or Canada.
Application Required to Apply for the Scholarship:
- Essay between 500 and 650 words on “Living With Dyslexia” or “Living With Auditory Processing Disorder”
- Evidence of enrollment in a college. Please be aware that students who defer are not eligible. Valid enrollment documentation: You can show a current class schedule, student identification, a receipt for tuition payment, or an official letter from your institution confirming your enrollment for the upcoming autumn semester. You must be able to see your university’s or college’s full name. Acceptance correspondence is not evidence of enrolment.
- No consideration will be given to essays that are submitted anonymously.
- You grant Gemm Learning permission to publish your essay and your complete name on our website and/or blog by submitting an essay and a copy of your registration documentation.
