About Sprout Social UNCF Scholarship

US Scholarship | The scholarship is available to African American college seniors majoring in computer science or software engineering who will graduate in May 2023 from an accredited four-year college. The organization creates long-lasting software at Sprout Social. Scalability and performance are important priorities because our 30,000+ customers depend on us to reliably link them with their consumers every day. Employing Sprout Social allows businesses and organizations like DoorDash, General Mills, Trello, and the Make-a-Wish Foundation to forge closer connections with their target audiences on social media.

The Sprout Social UNCF Scholarship Program was created through a collaboration between Sprout Social and UNCF. This program targets college seniors who exhibit outstanding leadership qualities and exhibit an interest in computer science or software engineering with merit-based awards. The option to apply and interview for a full-time position at Sprout Social beginning in the summer of 2023 will be given to scholarship beneficiaries. Materials for applications will be given to the scholarship grantor.

Sprout Social UNCF Scholarship Program, Eligibility:-

  1. For the 2022–2023 academic year, be registered as a full-time senior in college.
  2. Being an American citizen or lawful permanent resident, while identifying as African American or Black.
  3. Must be a bachelor’s degree candidate in computer science, software engineering, or a related profession who will be receiving their diploma in December 2022 or May 2023.
  4. A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required for all Candidates.
  5. Must have a permanent address in one of the necessary states.

Application Required to Apply for the Scholarship:-

  • A certified copy of a recent academic transcript.
  • A one-page resume outlining the applicant’s accomplishments, level of programming language expertise, leadership roles, community involvement, and awards.

Important Instruction:

  1. To confirm their eligibility, UNCF will speak with the institutions of the chosen candidates. Those who wish to apply but do not meet the eligibility standards and application requirements should not do so.
  2. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the recipient’s institution unless otherwise stated.
  3. Email submissions of application documents are not allowed at any time.
  4. Within eight weeks of the application deadline, applicants will receive emails with scholarship decisions.
  5. Sprout Social will handle notifications and career possibilities.
