About Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship
Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship | Students in the United States on student visas, permanent residents, and U.S. citizens are all eligible for the scholarship. A full-time undergraduate student who has applied to or been accepted into a study abroad program that is approved for academic credit by their college or university qualifies as the applicant. An essay on what the applicant would like to learn about different cultures must be submitted.
Although it is important for young people to travel, not everyone can afford to do so, especially if they are still in school. Students that are passionate about learning abroad and wish to travel the world are given the Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship twice a year. Our goal at Tortuga is to make travel simpler for everyone, especially study abroad and gap year students. Customers “pay it forward” by sponsoring scholarships for students just like you when they purchase baggage from us.
The award can be used for travel, books, accommodation & board, or tuition. The winner’s university or study abroad program will receive the money directly. If this is not feasible, other arrangements will be arranged.

Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship, Eligibility:-
- Candidates must hold a student visa, be a citizen of the United States, or be permanent residents.
- Candidates must be enrolled full-time as undergraduate students in good standing at an American four-year institution that awards degrees.
- Have applied to or been accepted into a study abroad program eligible for credit by your college or university.
Note: November 30, 2022, will mark the announcement of the winner.
