About UNCF Toyota Scholars Program

USA Scholarship | The scholarship is available to underrepresented minority students who are enrolled full-time in a four-year accredited public or private historically Black college or university as sophomores or juniors. The applicant must be enrolled in one of the following majors to be considered: Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Cloud Computing, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Data Mining and Analytics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science(s), Finance, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering.

UNCF Toyota Scholars Program, Eligibility:-

  1. Candidates must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.7 on a scale of 4.0.
  2. Candidates must be citizens or legal residents of the United States.
  3. Candidates must be members of an underrepresented group of students who are enrolled as sophomores or juniors.
  4. Candidates must be full-time students at an accredited historically Black four-year public or private college or university (HBCU).

Applications Required to Apply for the Scholarship:-

  • Through the UNCF scholarship website, applicants must submit an online application.
  • A response to the essay prompt about one’s career aspirations and interests that explains why one is drawn to the UNCF Toyota Scholars Program.
  • A current resume must be submitted by applicants.
  • An unofficial copy of your most recent transcript that shows your cumulative GPA.

Application Open Date: October 16th, 2022.
