Fulbright Scholarship Eligibilty

If you are interested in applying for these scholarships, then you have to completely fulfill a few eligibility criteria set by the scholarship program. If you are a citizen of the United States it is not enough for eligibility, please learn more about the eligibility criteria for U.S citizens here.

If you are a non-U.S citizen then you have learned more about the scholarship program for International students from here.

You must have either a four-year undergraduate degree or In case that your completed bachelors is less four years, a full-time master’s degree or a full-time postgraduate diploma from a recognized university or colleges.

If you are one of the lucky applicant who have already won the award, then you are not eligible to apply for the grant before your previous grant has come to an end. In order to apply for the program again you would have to wait for about 2 years.

The Candidates who are employed by U.S government public, private organization are not eligible for this scholarship, their family members will also not be eligible unless they have been terminated from that organization for more than 1 year.

If you are a member of the U.S armed forces and your qualification is at par with other applicants, then you are more likely to get a scholarship.
