Qualified candidates will get scholarships worth up to $5,000, One scholarship per household per semester can be awarded. Applications will be accepted for the autumn semester from January 1 through April 30 Applications will be taken from August 1 through November 15 for the upcoming spring semester. Scholarships for the fall semester will be given out in August, and those for the spring semester will be given out in January. Scholarships must be applied for and used by the conclusion of the academic year for which the veteran is seeking. Otherwise, they will be forfeited.
Only tuition and fees are eligible for scholarships, which are paid directly to recognized institutions.

VFW Scholarships, Eligibility:-

- Candidates who have successfully completed both basic and supplemental training.
- Own a military rank of E-5 or lower at the time of separation or right now.
