About Walt Disney Company UNCF Corporate Scholars program

USA Scholarships | African American college juniors who want to work in the entertainment industry are eligible for the scholarship (e.g. film, television, hospitality management, journalism, media production, digital media, etc). Students attending historically black colleges or universities will be given preference (HBCU). High-achieving African American students around the nation can apply for scholarships through the Walt Disney UNCF Enhanced Corporate Scholarship, which is funded by a $1 million pledge from the Walt Disney Company. During the spring semester of the school year 2022–2023, this program will also give students access to career-ready resources to help them achieve their goals in the entertainment industry through mentorship with The Walt Disney Company.

The UNCF Enhanced Corporate Scholarship from The Walt Disney Company aims to lessen financial burdens on students interested in careers in the entertainment sector. For the academic year 2022–2023, juniors who are chosen for this one-time scholarship opportunity will also have access to The Walt Disney Company mentoring program in addition to receiving a $2,500 stipend.

Junior African American enrolled full-time in a four-year institution.
A minimum cumulative 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required for students.
All Candidates must be a resident of the US.

All Candidates must have to submit the Application form attached with proper documentation. Candidates are required to submit a 500-word essay outlining their desire to work in the entertainment industry.
